Corona blast again in Mumbai, 2,510 new cases surfaced; New guidelines issued by the government

There has been a spurt in the cases of corona in the country’s financial capital Mumbai. On Wednesday, 2510 new cases of corona were reported from Mumbai city itself. Earlier on Tuesday, more than 1300 new cases of corona were registered in Mumbai city. In this way, in view of the increasing case of corona in Maharashtra, the fear of third wave has intensified.

A record 2510 new cases of corona were reported in Mumbai on Wednesday. While 251 people recovered and returned to their homes. In this way, the total number of corona patients in Mumbai alone has gone up to 7 lakh 75 thousand 808. At the same time, there are 8060 active cases. The death toll from Corona in Mumbai has reached 16 thousand 375. On Wednesday, the death of a patient from Corona was registered in Mumbai.

The rising corona cases in Maharashtra remain a cause of concern for Uddhav Thackeray. The government has urged people to follow the Covid protocol. Along with this, guidelines have been issued for the celebration of the new year. Programs in closed auditoriums have been allowed to fill up to 50 per cent capacity. At the same time, 25 percent capacity is allowed for programs in open spaces. People have been asked to avoid gathering at beaches and parks. It has also been advised not to crowd at Gateway of India, Marine Lines, Girgaum Chowpatty and Juhu Chowpatty.

At the same time, on Wednesday, Aaditya Thackeray, a minister in the government, expressed concern over the rising corona case in the state. He had said that last week, we were reporting 150 cases daily. Now we are registering more than 2,000 cases per day.
