What Can AQI Level Affect You In Delhi?
AQI levels have crossed 400-500 many times. So, people should be aware of its harmful consequences. If you exercise outside, you will be damaging your lungs. You might not see the damage immediately, it will be visible to you when you hit your fifties or sixties. This does not mean that you should expose your lungs to such toxic air. So, confine yourself to indoors to do exercises. If possible try to install air purifiers indoors, otherwise simply stay indoors.
However, if you want to do training outside, then try to do in the window between twelve O’ clock to four O’ clock when the AQI level is at the lowest. Sometimes, it is difficult to wear a mask and run. Remember that a simple surgical mask will not give you any protection. So, put on an N ninety-five mask before you run. However, it is challenging for you, then please stay indoors and do not damage your lungs.
