The symptoms of dengue include shivering, fever, loss of appetite, severe body ache, vomiting, itching of the skin and headache. Till now there is no treatment for dengue fever, it’s only symptoms that are treated. Patients are advised to follow the suggestions of their doctor to recover faster. One of the major issues faced by people suffering from dengue is low platelet count.

1- Papaya Leaf Extract

Papaya leaf extract is a common home remedy to increase platelets drastically. Consuming fresh leaves extract is always considered as a better option. To make the juice, grind some leaves in a mortar and pestle and squeeze out the juice with the help of your hands.

2- Vitamin C rich food

Vitamin C is best when it comes to boosting immunity. Consume foods items like amla, lemon, oranges, pineapple to boost your immunity.

3- Zinc rich food or tablets

Zinc helps in overcoming the fever. You can have zinc-rich food or also opt for zinc tablets that are easily available in the market.

4- Folic acid and vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 and folic acid play an important role in maintaining a healthy balance of the immune system. Inadequate levels of folic acid and vitamin B12 can drastically alter the immune response.
