HEALTH: Try Healthy and Tasty Vegetable Rice Balls For Evening Party

Have you planned a party at your home for your children, try this recipe to make healthy and tasty vegetable rice balls.

Whenever we organise a party at home, we like to make healthy and tasty snacks, the ones liked by both children and adults equally. Sometimes it becomes difficult for us to think about the dish and we are left with only confusion. But, today we would be talking about a recipe that is not only tasty but also good for your health. Instead of making fast food at your home or buying it from outside, you can try this healthy and tasty snack for your children’s party.

Monsoon season is going on, but you can also try this recipe in the winter season. The recipe can be paired with hot piping masala tea or a normal one.This is a healthy snack with a high nutritional value, which would be made even better by addition of different kinds of vegetables.

Let’s talk about the ingredients and recipe of making these tasty and healthy rice and vegetable balls.

1. Rice Flour: 1 Cup

2. Chopped Capsicum: 3-4 tsp (finely chopped)

3. Grated Cauliflower: 1/2 Cup

4. Grated Ginger: 1 teaspoon

5. Green Chillies: 3-4 (finely chopped)

6. Salt: To taste 

7. Oil: 2 tsp

8. Cumin Seeds: 1/2 tsp

9. Coriander Powder: 1 tsp

10. Red Chilli: 3/4 tsp

11. Dry Mango Powder: 1/4 tsp

12. Garam Masala: 1/4 tsp

13. Turmeric Powder: 1/4 tsp

14. Coriander Leaves: 2-3 tbsp (finely chopped)

15. Mashed Boiled Potatoes: 1/2 cup

16. Oil: To fry

Rice and Vegetable Balls Recipe:

1. First take about 1.25 cups of water in a pan and add salt and 2 teaspoons of oil to it. Cover it and boil.

2. Add rice flour to the pan, mix and turn off the gas.

3. Now, keep the mixture covered for about 5 minutes. 

4. Take all of the mixture out in a vessel and add all the vegetables and all the spices to it.

5. When the mixture cools slightly, add potatoes and then knead the mixture.

6. Apply a little oil on the hand and prepare round balls with the mixture.

7. After the balls are ready, put some oil in a pan and heat it for frying.

8. When the oil is hot, put the balls in the pan one by one and fry them until they are golden brown.

9. When the balls turn golden brown, take them off the pan and place them on a plate. 

10- Serve these hot spicy vegetable balls with chutney or tomato sauce.
