Secretary Health Dr.R. Rajesh Kumar has appealed to the people not to panic about the corona infection. Follow the Corona rules for rescue and be alert. He said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will give appointment letters today to community health officers to be posted in health and wellness centers in the state.
Secretary Health Dr. R.K. Rajesh Kumar held a virtual meeting with the CMOs of all the districts. He informed that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat will give appointment letters to the newly appointed Community Health Officers (CHOs) in the program to be held at Chief Servant Sadan in CM residence.
The Secretary instructed the CMO that along with monitoring for the prevention of corona infection, special attention should be paid to sample testing, Covid vaccination. At present, cases of corona infection are increasing rapidly in many countries including China, Japan, United States, Korea, Brazil. The COVID pandemic still remains a public health challenge.
In the meeting, the Health Secretary told that there is a continuous change in the nature of the corona virus. Monitoring is essential for timely identification of new variants. He instructed the CMOs to make a strategy for prevention and prevention of infection in the districts according to the guidelines. He has appealed to the people not to panic about the infection. Additional Secretary Health Amandeep Kaur, Director Dr. Saroj Naithani, Dr. Vinita Shah, Dr. Shikha Jangpangi, CMO Dehradun Dr. Manoj Upreji, Dr. Pankaj Kumar were present in the meeting.
