Karnataka COVID lockdown update: here’s what’s open and what’s not

Karnataka government has lifted the night curfew. Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa allowed government offices to reopen. Night curfew will continue to be imposed from 9:00 PM to 5:00 Am.

Meanwhile they have stated that relaxation are given as Covid cases has come down and as a part of the third level of unlocking from 5 July.

Government has eases curbs and declare new guidelines.

Marriage or family functions are permitted but not more than 100 people can involve.
Cremation are allowed with maximum of 20 people. All the religious can be open but only for Darshan.

While Theatres, Cinema halls and Pubs will remain closed.
Gathering related to social, political, sport’s, entertainment, academic, cultural, religious function and large congregation are still prohibited. For competition training purpose Swimming Pools are allowed to open.

Notably all the shops, restaurants, malls, private offices, closed place’s strictly enforce COVID appropriate behaviour failing which action will be initiated under the Disaster Management Act, 2005.

While educational institutions will be remain closed till government announces new guidelines. Public transport is allowed with limited seating capacity.
