Know which 6 states contributed to 86.37% of fresh Covid cases in India

In the 13 states and 6 union territories of the country, there has not been a single death in the last 24 hours due to the corona virus. The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry gave this information on Sunday.

Along with this, the ministry said that new cases of corona virus have increased in Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat and 86.37% of new cases of corona virus are from these six states.

Along with this, the Center has asked the states to extend the Covid-19 test and follow effective monitoring strategies in respect of possible super-spreading incidents. The Union Health Ministry said in a statement, "Effective testing, comprehensive tracking, quick Isolation of positive cases and close contacts have been asked to quarantine."

More than 8 thousand new cases of corona occurred in Maharashtra for the fourth consecutive day, due to which the total cases of infection in the state increased to more than 21 lakh 46 thousand. An official of the Health Department has given this information. In 24 hours, 8,623 new cases of infection came in the state and 51 deaths have occurred. The death toll in the state reached 52,092 due to the Corona pandemic.
