Second dose of vaccination starts today

India is fighting the most active in the world against the Corona virus. India has overtaken countries like the US-UK in terms of vaccination and so far 77.66 lakh people have taken the first dose of vaccine in the country. According to Health Ministry data, 7766319 people have been given the first dose of Corona vaccine so far in the country. There are 58.65 lakh health workers and 19 lakh frontline workers. With this, people will be started giving the second dose of vaccine from today on Saturday. Those who were vaccinated on January 16 on the first day of vaccination will take a second dose on Saturday.

The Health Ministry said that a total of 261309 people were vaccinated in ten states including Gujarat, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha, Uttar Pradesh on Friday. The ministry said that so far there have been 33 cases of hospitalization due to the side effects of vaccination, out of which 21 have gone home. Two are undergoing treatment and 10 have died. So far, a total of 24 deaths have been reported after vaccination. Of these, nine deaths have occurred in the hospital and 15 have occurred outside. But there are different causes of deaths and these deaths have not happened due to vaccines.

According to the Health Ministry data, a total of 77 lakh 66 thousand 319 people have been given the first dose of corona vaccine so far. Of these, 58.65 lakh are health workers and 19 lakh front line workers.

NITI Aayog member (health) Dr. VK Paul said that the second dose of corona vaccine can be given at any time between four to six weeks. We have these periods under the vaccine regimen rules. Let us tell you that Dr. VK Paul also took his first covicin dose on the day of launch on 16 January.
