Vaccination stock depletes in Madhya Pradesh health facilities amid rising Covid-19 cases

Covid-19: Health facilities lack vaccination stock in the midst of a considerable increase of Covid-19 infections, with the exception of three private hospitals in two districts. Additionally, they lack any information or updates regarding the anticipated release date of the vaccines. In the state, Corbevax is still on hand at a private hospital in Gwalior, while Covovax is still on hand at two private hospitals in Indore. According to a record on the Co-Win application dashboard, the remaining stocks of Covid-19 vaccinations are running low in all of the state’s healthcare facilities.

There is no communication regarding fresh stocks

After the state health authority used all the five lakh doses of vaccines that were given to them in response to their demand during the December-January surge period, the availability of vaccines has decreased to nil over the past few months. State vaccination official Dr. Santosh Shukla stated, “Both public and commercial clinics in Madhya Pradesh are out of the vaccine. Additionally, there is no communication regarding fresh stocks. “Recently, a video conference was held in response to an increase of Covid19 instances nationwide. However, there is currently no information available about vaccines, said Dr. Shukla.
