Worldwide, cases of infection with the corona virus are constantly increasing. Although scientists are definitely hoping that in the next year i.e. 2021, there will be a vaccine, but how and when it will be available is also a big question. Meanwhile, World Health Organization chief scientist Soumya Swaminathan has said something about the corona vaccine that increase the concerns of youth.

Saumya Swaminathan has stated that a healthy and young person may have to wait until 2022 for the corona vaccine. She said that first the focus would be on immunization of the elderly and other vulnerable groups.

Swaminathan has hoped that at least one effective vaccine will be available by the year 2021, but that too will be available only in limited quantities. Therefore, the first vaccination will be initiated with health care workers and front-line workers, and those who are most at risk will be given priority.

She said that it is difficult to get sufficient corona vaccine before the year 2022, so that people can return to normal life. She said that the vaccine currently undergoing trials will take at least 12 months.
