A 124.6cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine powers the Destini 125. It produces 9.1PS at 7000rpm and 10.4Nm at 5500rpm. For BS6, the engine produces increased power and torque in addition to running cleanly. In contrast, the BS4 motor produced 10.2Nm and 8.7PS.

Features

The Hero Destini 125 has switchable i3S (idle stop and start system) technology, which saves petrol by switching off the engine while it idles in traffic. The package also includes a semi-digital instrument cluster with a trip counter, an odometer, a maintenance indication, a side-stand indicator, and other standard data. Bluetooth connectivity is a standard feature of the Xtec model. It also has an exterior petrol filler cap that can be opened with the multifunction key slot, illuminated under-seat storage, and a mobile charging port for increased functionality. Hero Connect, an add-on function that costs an additional Rs 4,999, completes the package. It facilitates access to new capabilities like ride analysis, trip history, trip geo-fencing, and last-parked position.

Price in India

The base model Hero Destini 125 with drum brakes and steel wheels costs Rs 70,950, while the LX version costs Rs 75,500. Costing Rs. 81,990, the top-tier Destini 125 Xtec (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
