Hero Splendor: The Honda Activa came in second with 2,46,016 units sold and a YoY growth of 50.6 per cent, and the Hero Splendour was the top-selling two-wheeler in April 2023 with sales of 2,65,225 units and a 13.3% YoY gain.
An air-cooled, 97.2cc, fuel-injected single-cylinder engine that is mated to a 4-speed gearbox powers the Splendour Plus. With a 9.8-litre fuel tank, it produces 8.02PS and 8.05Nm.
Hero Splendour Xtec is jam-packed with industry-first technologies like fully digital instrumentation that supports smartphone communication through Bluetooth to display data like Call/SMS notifications, phone battery prompt, and real-time mileage. Along with two trip metres, a low fuel indicator, side-stand engine shut-off functionality, and a bank angle sensor that turns off the engine if the motorcycle falls, the LCD screen also features these additional features. The other variations feature an analogue instrument cluster that includes a speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, and warning lights. It also includes Hero’s i3S stop-start technology, which switches the engine back on with a single twist of the throttle after it has been turned off while idling, improving efficiency on congested roadways. A combined brake system and an LED DRL are also included in addition to everything else.
