Electric Scooter: In the first half of 2023, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India will introduce a new electric two-wheeler, marking the company's entry into the electric scooter market. Although the brand hasn't yet revealed its name, it is anticipated to compete in the Indian market against rivals like the TVS iQube and the Bajaj Chetak. A revolutionary electric scooter by Honda

This new electric two-wheeler will likely be marketed under the same brand as the Activa and be an electric version of that vehicle. The Japanese company is currently creating a team with the assistance of the Japanese engineers of Honda Motorcycle. The Japanese team will assist the company in creating the essential platforms and technologies for electric scooters to meet Indian standards.

The company also held internal inquiries and conversations to determine whether it would be feasible to introduce a new electric scooter to the Indian market. Similar discussions regarding how to create a useful and dependable product for our market were held with the Japanese design team.

Honda at EICMA 2022

At EICMA 2022, the company recently unveiled the Honda EM1 e: electric scooter for the European market. With the help of battery-swapping technology, this new ev is expected to have a range of about 60 kilometres on a single charge. This new ev, which has a top speed of about 50 km/h, will be a fantastic option for anyone searching for a small, lightweight scooter for short-distance urban commuting. In late 2023, the brand is also anticipated to release this e-scooter in India.
