Hyderabad man hacked to death, police refrain from intervening

A man in Hyderabad was hacked to death just a few metres away from the Chandrayangutta police station in South Zone.  He has been identified as Zubaidi (37), a businessman from the Barakas area.  The eye witnessed present have claimed that he was dragged out of his car on Bandlaguda Road and hacked to death by a few men. Even as there were few people present when the incident took place, no passerby or policeman dared to intervene and the assailants fled the scene after killing him.

‘’Three brothers have been named in the murder. Zubaidi operated a money transfer business and there was a financial dispute between them. We have formed special teams to nab the accused,” said South Zone DCP Gajrao Bhupal.

Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar placed a sub-inspector from Chandrayangutta police station under suspension for dereliction of duties as the cops failed to act in time to save the man.
