It will face competition from vehicles like the Tata Punch, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and Citroen C3 if it is released. The Ai3 will reportedly be the cheapest and smallest Hyundai SUV in the nation. It will, however, be a little larger than the Casper SUV now available on the international market.

The new Hyundai Mini SUV’s exact specifications have not yet been made public. But we anticipate it to have features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, an automatic air conditioner, power windows, a reverse camera, and electrically adjustable ORVMs.

Engine and Transmission

The Grand i10 Nios hatchback will serve as the foundation for the forthcoming Hyundai Ai3. It may be purchased with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces a maximum torque of 114Nm and 83PS. It can be purchased with either a manual or automatic transmission. Additionally, the business has the option to provide it with CNG fuel.

Let us mention that, in order to raise its production in the nation from 7.7 lakh to 8.5 lakh units, Hyundai Motor India invested more than Rs 1400 crore in the previous fiscal year. The new micro SUV is planned to be produced in 50,000 units annually.
