Hyundai Confirms Price Hike from 1 January 2024; Details Inside

Hyundai Motors has recently announced that it will hike the price of its products across its portfolio in India from 1 January 2024. The company has not provided an exact updated price list of all its cars. The automaker has informed us that the new price comes for the reason of increased prices of raw materials and other important components. 

Creta Facelift Launching on 16 January 2024

Apart from this, Hyundai is all caught up to launch the Creta facelift in India on 16 January 2024. The upcoming facelift model for the sub-compact SUV will get some major cosmetic updates at the front fascia, added features and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine derived from the recently launched Alcazar and Verna. 

Shahrukh Khan Receives Ioniq 5

In addition to this, Hyundai has also delivered the 1100th unit of Ioniq 5 to the Bollywood Badshah, Shahrukh Khan. Three models of the Hyundai Motors are also selected for Indian Car of the Year 2024 (ICOTY). These cars include the Hyundai Verna, Exter and Ioniq 5.  Hyundai Verna and Exter are exceptional products for the ICOTY 2024, while the Ioniq 5 is selected for the Green Car of the Year category.

Announcing the price hike, Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India, said, “At Hyundai Motor India, we always try to absorb the cost escalations to the extent possible and ensure continuous customer delight. However, it has now become imperative to pass on some portion of the rising input cost to the market through a minor price increase. The price hike will be effective from January 1st, 2024.”
