Hyundai Ioniq 5 features
Dual-zone climate control, an augmented reality heads-up display, motorised front seats, a wide panoramic glass roof, ambient lighting, and a wireless phone charger are some of the features that stand out in the Ioniq 5. Multiple airbags, electronic stability control, and a wide range of ADAS systems all contribute to passenger safety.
Powertrain and performance
Hyundai's E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform) architecture, which also serves as the foundation for the EV6, powers the Ioniq 5. It is available in single and dual motor configurations for both the Standard and Long Range models internationally.
Exterior design
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is built on the Parametric Pixel design ethos of the automaker. In addition, despite being a spacious hatchback, it stands apart from the others due to its boxy appearance and shape. The design is particularly fond of the pixel-like square detailing on the headlights and taillamps. Additionally, it rolls on massive 20-inch alloy wheels to give it the ideal posture.
Interior Design
The dual screens that are at the front and centre of the Ioniq 5's cabin adopt a minimalist design aesthetic. The Ioniq 5's cabin stands out for its functionality more so than for its aesthetic appeal. To begin with, a glove draw is provided in place of the typical glove box. For added comfort, the rear seats may slide and recline, and the centre console in front of the front seats can be moved in either direction.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 Expected price and competition
Hyundai might think about assembling the Ioniq 5 in India, as opposed to the EV6, which is imported as a CBU. It might therefore start off less expensive than the EV6, which goes for Rs 59.95 lakh. It will compete against other vehicles with comparable prices, such the Volvo XC40 Recharge, BMW i4, and its cousin, the Kia EV6.
