Hyundai Venue Displaces Tata Nexon To Become Second Best Selling Compact SUV In August 2023; Details

Hyundai Venue: Previous month, Maruti Brezza got the title of Best Selling compact SUV with Hyundai Venue standing some steps behind. Both these SUV crossed 10000 units mark in August sales, both these vehicle performed well when the respective segment faced a month-over-month (MoM) decline of 9.4 percent. Tata Nexon has faced the biggest loss has faced the biggest decline during this decline. Here, in this article, we will discuss the August sales of Sub-4m SUV models.   • Even after a month-over-month decline of around 12 Percent, Maruti Brezza managed to hold its position as the top selling subcompact SUV in the previous month. In August 2023, around 14500 units were sold of this compact SUV.
  • On the other hand, Hyundai Venue secured the second position on the top selling charts. Hyundai Venue witnessed a month-over-month growth of 8.8 Percent. Maruti Brezza and Hyundai Venue are the only vehicle to cross 10000 Unit sales mark.
  • Tata Nexon has faced the significant decline in the sales chart of August 2023. The vehicle's sales has gone down by 34.82 percent. The reason of this decline seems to be the upcoming Nexon Facelift which has recieved major updates, the latest fcelift will be launched on September 14.
  • In terms of sales, Mahindra XUV300 stood at the fourth position, this SUV has seen an month-over-month growth of 10 percent in August 2023. The company also launched a new base variant of XUV300 last month.
  • Fifth place was secured by Kia Sonet, Kia sub 4 metre SUV has seen a decline of around 3 percent in its sales.
  • Nissan Magnite came next to the Kia Sonet and managed to secure sixth position with over 2500 Units sold in August 2023.
  • Lastly, the seventh position was secured by Renault Kiger, the SUV didn't performed well, it even failed to cross 1000 Units mark. Recently, the brand also launched the "Urban Black" Edition of the kiger.
