Jaish-e-Mohammed: Has Dhaka Become Islamabad’s New Terror Proxy Against India? JeM & LeT Training Camps Raise Alarm

Multiple team of terrorist outfits Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) have been sent by Pakistan to Bangladesh to possibly train explosive experts for initiating attacks on India.

Jaish-e-Mohammed: India’s intelligence agencies have put all borders states on high alert after it was found that a group of terrorists from Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) are set to infiltrate into Bangladesh.

The Financial Express reported that the two terror outfits are believed to get re-activated in West Bengal and the northeastern states of India. Intelligence agencies believe that this could translate to a series a bomb blasts in India to disrupt regional peace.

The Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan has reportedly given a directive leading to the joint efforts between the two outfits. A nine-member team met to train operatives in Bangladesh with the intention to carry out a series of bomb blasts in India.

Why is Bangladesh Supporting This?

In recent months, Bangladesh has been seen inclining towards Pakistan, a country that once raped and killed millions of its citizens leading to the 1971 partition.

What’s Next for Jaish-e-Mohammed?

According to intelligence agencies, Hafiz Saeed, chief of the Lashkar-e-Taiba, is scheduled to visit Dhaka and interact with members of both terror groups.

It was added that sleeper networks in West Bengal and the northeastern states of India have also been activated, providing a clear sign that a big strike is getting planned against India. In recent days, several madrasas in Bangladesh have been temporarily shut down to possibly provide shelter and training to the terrorists.
