Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. The festival is celebrated every year on the ashtami date of Krishna Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada. Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated on 30th August this year. According to religious beliefs, Lord Krishna was born on this date in Rohini Nakshatra. Childless couples especially fast on this day. According to the belief, taking measures on this day fulfills the wishes of the devotees and also gives them the blessings of Lord Krishna. The measures are as follows:
Bring a small statue of a cow or calf to the house on Janmashtami. This will solve your money problems, improve the economic situation and also remove child problems.
Offer silver flute to Lord Krishna on Janmashtami. And after the puja, place this flute in your purse or where you place the money.
Offer 56 bhogs to Lord Krishna on Janmashtami. It is believed that lord Krishna becomes happy from 56 bhogs and he fulfills all the wishes of the devotees.
On janmashtami, you must include the flowers of Parijat in the puja because Lord Hari Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi love the flowers of parijat and Lord Krishna is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu ji.
