In the Delhi Bullion Market, gold prices on Thursday rose by Rs 438 per 10 grams to close at Rs 50,887 per 10 grams. During the last trading session, gold had closed at Rs 50,453 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market.
Silver prices in the Delhi bullion market closed at Rs 61,776 per kg after rising by Rs 918. During the last trading session, silver had closed at Rs 60,858 per kg in the Delhi bullion market.

Gems and jewelery exports up 55 per cent in FY22
It is worth noting that Gems and Jewelery exports have increased in 2021-22 and have increased by about 55 percent to $ 39.15 billion as compared to the previous financial year. Industry body Gems and Jewelery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) said that the gross export of gems and jewelery stood at $ 25.40 billion in 2020-21.
Gold imports up 33.34 per cent in FY22
It is noteworthy that the import of gold in the country increased by 33.34 percent to $ 46.14 billion in the last financial year 2021-22. According to official data, India’s gold import in the financial year 2020-21 stood at $ 34.62 billion.
