Kia Seltos and Sonet to get mid life facelifts? Will they change market dynamics? All we know

Kia Seltos and Sonet: By modernising two of its SUVs during this fiscal year (2023–24), Korean carmaker Kia wants to introduce them to the Indian market. In the next month of July, one of these SUVs will debut. It will contend with other SUVs in the compact SUV market, such as the Hyundai Creta, while the other SUV will contend with other SUVs in the sub-4 metre compact SUV market, such as the Maruti Brezza.

Additionally, Kia is hard at work on the facelift version of Sonet, a sub-4 metre compact SUV that has been spotted numerous times while being tested on Indian roads. The revised model's interior will also be renovated in addition to the exterior changes. It will have a lot of new features.
Many new features will be included.

The new Seltos may provide inspiration for the front and rear appearance. The 1.2L NA petrol, 1.0L turbo petrol, and 1.5L turbo diesel engines that are currently available are likely to remain.

Kia Seltos Facelift

The Indian SUV enthusiasts are in for a big surprise in July, thanks to Kia Motors. Yes, the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift, which can be introduced in July, will bring about a number of modifications to the exterior, interior, and engine of this midsize SUV. 

The 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engines as well as the 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with a maximum output of 160 PS and a maximum torque of 253 Nm will all remain standard on the Kia Seltos facelift. Transmission options for the Seltos makeover could include a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT.

The 2023 Kia Seltos facelift will include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, a fully digital instrument panel, a panoramic sunroof, six airbags, hill assist control, vehicle stability management, 360-degree and advanced driver assistant system (ADAS), among other new features.
