KTM 890 SMT 2024 spotted being tested in Spain, could it launch in India? All we know so far

KTM 890 SMT: Several KTM test bikes have been spotted in recent months. And right now, the 890 SMT mule has also been spotted in Spain. All we could make out from the images.

The 890 SMT is inspired by many different models in terms of appearance. As an example, the Adventure line from the Austrian manufacturer has a similar LED headlight topped by a transparent windscreen. The rear portion, meanwhile, resembles a KTM streetfighter in terms of sleekness.  The use of a single petrol tank as opposed to the two units that the ADV employs for off-road use is another way that the SMT differs from the ADV. An up-facing exhaust has been installed on the bike which might give a very clear sound. The bike is also seen sporting long travel suspension and off-road tyres.

KTM is anticipated to provide ride modes, traction control, smartphone connectivity, ABS settings, and more.

The bikes appear to still be in the testing and development phases.
