Lucknow News: Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has announced its One-Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme 2026, offering significant relief to defaulters by waiving penal and compound interest on pending dues. The scheme will come into effect from April 18, 2026, providing what the authority calls a “final opportunity” for allottees to clear outstanding payments.

Lucknow News: Features of the Scheme

Under OTS-2026, pending dues will be recalculated using only simple interest, eliminating the burden of penal and compound charges. Additionally, allottees opting for lump sum payment will be eligible for an extra discount of up to 3%. The authority has assured disposal of applications within a maximum period of three months, ensuring a faster and more transparent process.

Application Process

Applicants can apply through both online and offline modes. Online applications can be submitted via the official Aawas Bandhu website, while offline applications will require OTP verification in the presence of the applicant. A processing fee ranging from ₹100 to ₹11,000 has been fixed depending on the category.

Coverage of the Scheme

The scheme will be applicable to a wide range of properties, including residential units (including group housing), commercial properties, government and semi-government allotments, school and institutional plots, cooperative housing societies, and map defaulter cases.

Helpline and Assistance

Applicants can visit the LDA office at Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, specifically the Single Window Counter No. 6, or call the toll-free number 1800-1800-5000 (Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM) for further details.

The LDA believes that the scheme will help thousands of defaulters settle their dues in a simplified manner while reducing financial burden and legal complications.
