Maharashtra To Expand It’s Cabinet Ministry?

Eknath Shinde Maharashtra Chief Minister is about to expand his cabinet. Eknath Shinde will expand his cabinet before August 15, inducting at least 15 ministers and deputy chief minister. If sources are to be believed Devendra Fadnavis is expected to keep the crucial Home portfolio.

Due to the OBC reservation issue the civic polls in the State, delayed. After getting a clarification from the apex court the polls are likely to be held in October.

On 30 June after the resignation of Uddhav Thackeray, Shinde was sworn in as Chief Minister.

Shinde and Devendra is working like a two-member cabinet since Uddhav Thackeray resignation.

“Ajit Pawar is leader of the opposition. He will have to say such things. Ajit dada conveniently forgets that when he was in the government there were just five ministers for the first 32 days,” Fadnavis told reporters in Mumbai.

“The expansion of the Maharashtra cabinet will take place before you can even imagine”, Fadnavis said in response to reporters about expansion of cabinet ministers.

He further says these constituencies included those held by Shiv Sena leaders who have now joined the Shinde camp.

“Since Shiv Sena and BJP will contest the Lok Sabha elections as a coalition, the BJP will work to ensure the victory of the sitting Lok Sabha members from these constituencies,” Fadnavis said.

For BJP’S better performance in Baramati Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has been given the responsibility to coordinate with each other.

Fadnavis also revealed that in month of September Sitharaman is likely to tour Baramati

“In these 16 constituencies, the central BJP will concentrate its energies to better the party’s performance,” Fadnavis adds.

Notably Supriya Sule the daughter of NCP chief Sharad Pawar is representing Baramati.
