Mahindra BE.05 production variant teased, will rival Creta EV and Curvv EV, All details here

Mahindra BE.05:The Futurescape international event was recently held in South Africa by Mahindra & Mahindra. Along with the Thar.e and Scorpio N-based Global Pik Up ideas, the firm showcased its new line of Oja tractors. As electric versions of the Scorpio and Bolero are really on the way, the domestic UV maker has disclosed its future ambitions to increase its EV line.

Mahindra BE.05 teased

The BE 05 is seen from above in the recently released photograph. The hood of the car has prominent creases that go back to the original design and retain its upright posture. Notably, there seems to be a continuous black gloss strip on the hood that might be home to sizable LED daytime running lights.

What appears to be a fixed glass roof is visible. Consequently, there is no sunroof. We're hoping there's some sort of electrochromic function or shade beneath this glass roof to cover it.

Expected Specs

Mahindra had earlier stated that the portable skateboard platform would have a 60-80 kWh battery pack. 175 kW of quick charging is another feature. It can be charged from 0% to 80% in just 30 minutes, according to the company, thanks to its fast charging capability.

Expected features

A horizontally oriented touchscreen infotainment system, digital metre panel, premium sound system, wireless charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated seats, leather upholstery, and dual-zone climate control are just a few of the interior elements that will be included. Along with this, BE.05. will also offer compatibility with 5G networks. New features will also be accessible via OTA.
