Mahindra: In the XUV line, including the XUV700 and XUV400 EV, Mahindra has formally announced a voluntary recall of more than 1.10 lakh vehicles. In addition, 3,560 units of its first electric SUV for the Indian market and 1,08,306 units of the XUV700 SUV are included.
Mahindra recalls over 1.10 lakh XUV700 and XUV400
The impacted vehicles are 1,08,306 XUV700 units produced between June 8, 2021, and June 28, 2023, and 3,560 XUV400 units produced between February 16, 2023, and June 5, 2023, according to the manufacturer.
The XUV400 will be examined for "ineffective spring return action of the brake potentiometer," while the XUV700 will be examined for a "potential risk of abrasion cut of the wiring loom."
Customers will be contacted
Customers whose vehicles were produced during the above periods and are affected will be contacted individually by Mahindra for examination. Any further corrections will be made without charge to all clients.
