Mahindra Scorpio Classic S5: Scorpio is a crucial and profitable product for Mahindra. Mahindra did not cancel its previous Scorpio when it introduced the new Scorpio-N last year; instead, it made some improvements and introduced it in a new guise under the moniker Scorpio Classic. However, the Scorpio Classic was only made available in the S and S11 varieties. S11 is the top variant, and S is the base variant. Between these two, no other option was available. In contrast, Mahindra now offers the S5 variation, a mix of the S and S11 models.
A 6-speed manual gearbox is paired with a 2.2-litre diesel engine that is developed from the Scorpio N's less potent diesel version and produces 132PS and 300Nm.
Features
There should have also been body-colored door handles, an infotainment screen, steering-mounted audio controls, fog lamps, and electrically adjustable ORVMs. The new S5 trim, however, does not include all of these. Many of the base variant's features are included in this model, including side-facing bench seats in the third row, manual air conditioning, rear AC vents, MID in the instrument cluster, and LED taillights.
Price in India
A fair pricing for this S5 trim seems to be between Rs. 13.5 and 13.8 lakh when all the extras are taken into account.
