Mahindra XUV700: Waiting Period for this on road beauty reduced; features and specs that make it an attractive buy

Mahindra XUV700: Mahindra has announced a shorter waiting period for the XUV700. The waiting period for this SUV in Bengaluru is now only 40 weeks at most, down from 48 weeks when it was first offered.

The starting price for the XUV700 from Mahindra in India is Rs. 14.01 lakhs, ex-showroom. This SUV is offered in 5 different price tiers: MX, AX3, AX5, AX7, and AX7L. In addition, it is available in Everest White, Midnight Black, Dazzling Silver, Red Range, and Electric Blue colours for clients to purchase.

Mahindra XUV700 waiting period

If we discuss its AX5 variation, the MT variant's waiting duration is approximately 20–24 weeks, while the automated variant's waiting period is approximately 40 weeks. On its AX7 model, a similar 30- to 32-week waiting period is being applied.

The AX7L model, which has a longer wheelbase, will be discussed last. On this variation, a waiting period of no more than 36 to 40 weeks is permitted.

In relation to the waiting period for the MX version of the vehicle, the SUV is now offered with a waiting period of 15–16 weeks. Both an automatic and manual gearbox are offered for the automobile.

AX3 variants with manual transmissions have a 12–15 week waiting period, while those with automated transmissions may have to wait up to 40 weeks.

Specifications

The 2.0-litre turbo-petrol from Mahindra produces 200 PS and 380 Nm of torque, and the 2.2-litre diesel comes in two states of tune: 156 PS and 360 Nm (MX trim) and 185 PS and 450 Nm (AX trim). While the remaining powertrains come with both manual and 6-speed automatic options, the 156PS engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
