Manasi Tata appointed as Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s Vice Chairperson, all you should know

Toyota: Manasi Tata, the daughter of Vikram Kirloskar, has been named the new vice chairperson of Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), the business stated today. She will also take over as Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts’ vice chair.

The company’s board of directors approved the resolution relating to Tata’s nomination. On November 29, Kirloskar, the former vice chairman of TKM, died of a heart attack. He was 64.

Tata already held a position on the TKM Board of Directors. She plays a crucial role in the strategic operations and corporate choices of the business, according to a formal statement from TKM.

What did Manasi Tata say?

“I’m excited to enrich my journey with Toyota Kirloskar Motor. I am confident that with my personal belief of putting people first, we will continue to create the best value not only for customers but also for the entire system from suppliers to dealers,” Manasi Tata said.

Masakazu Yoshimura, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of TKM, congratulated Tata on her appointment by saying, “As a young business leader, Manasi Tata brings with her inclusive thinking and people-centric outlook that are critical in our pursuit of excellence across all areas. This, along with her sharp understanding of the Indian auto industry, will further strengthen TKM’s commitment towards delivering ‘mass happiness to all’.”
