Maruti Baleno Cross: In the first few months of 2023, Maruti Suzuki will introduce a brand-new model in the Indian market. In January at the Delhi Auto Expo, the automaker will unveil three new sport utility vehicles. One of the most interesting things at the event will be the new Maruti Coupe SUV, which has the code name YTB. It's been said that the new Maruti SUV will be called the Maruti Baleno Cross, but the name and other details haven't been made public yet. Here are the five most important things we know about the new Maruti compact SUV so far.
Boosterjet Engine
With the new Maruti compact SUV, the car company will bring back the Boosterjet turbo gasoline engine. The motor was first used in the top-of-the-line Baleno RS, which was taken off the market when the BS6 emission rules went into effect. Now, the company will bring it back with 102bhp of power and 150Nm of torque to meet BS6 standards. With the mild hybrid tech, the motor could be made better. A naturally aspirated gasoline engine, like the 1.2L Dualjet or 1.5L Dualjet with mild hybrid technology, could also be available for the Coupe SUV.

Design Inspiration
Like the Grand Vitara, the Maruti Baleno Cross will have the brand's updated SUV design language. It will have a more angular look, with split headlights, slim LED DRLs, and the "three-block" logo on the top of the hood. Some of its design will come from the Baleno hatchback and the Futuro e-Concept, both of which were unveiled at the last Delhi Auto Expo. The new Maruti compact SUV will have big wheel arches, a raised waistline, alloy wheels, a roofline that looks like a coupe, and a curved back window.
The Latest Technology used in Maruti Suzuki
Maruti Suzuki is likely to put high-tech items in the new Coupe SUV. It could have a new infotainment system with a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, voice commands, and Suzuki Connect. On the list are likely to be a steering wheel that can do more than one thing, a digital console, automatic air conditioning, AC vents in the back, more than one airbag, and more.
The official date that the new Maruti YTB SUV will go on sale has not yet been set. Though, reports say that the version of the car that is ready to go into production will be on sale by April 2023.
The expected price of the Maruti Baleno Cross SUV
The base model of the new Maruti Baleno Cross SUV is expected to cost around Rs 8 lakh, and the most expensive version could cost up to Rs 13 lakh. If it comes out at this price, it will compete with the Nissan Magnite and the Renault Kiger.
