Baleno SUV
A Maruti subcompact crossover SUV based on the Baleno was spotted in 2022. As a more upscale Nexa option, it will sit next to the Brezza (which is sold through Arena dealerships). It may even bring back the automaker’s 1-litre Boosterjet turbo petrol engine that was previously offered in the Baleno RS.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny
Finally, This year will see the introduction of the five-door version of the long-awaited Jimny. On Indian roads, the lifestyle SUV has been sighted undergoing testing, giving us a good indication of how the long-wheelbase variant would look. It is anticipated to make its debut at the 2023 Auto Expo with a starting price of about Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
Premium MPV
A Maruti-designed alternative to the Toyota Innova Hycross MPV is under development. It will rank much above the Ertiga and XL6 MPVs as the carmaker’s most expensive people mover available in India. Additionally, Along with the comfort and features we’ve seen in the Innova Hycross, the premium MPV is likely to offer ICE and hybrid powertrain options. It’ll probably be the most costly Maruti product available in India.
