Maruti Suzuki Dzire Facelift Spotted Testing; Check What's New

Maruti Suzuki Dzire Facelift: Maruti Suzuki is reportedly working on two facelift models of its popular sedan, Swift Dzire. Earlier, the Swift hatchback made its imminent debut at the Japan Mobility Show and now the Swift sedan facelift was spotted testing on Indian roads. After making its Indian debut, the Maruti Suzuki will be competing against the Honda Amaze, Tata Tigor and Hyundai Aura, its existing rivals. The Swift Dzire received major design updates back in 2016 and now the company is expected to introduce the first-ever facelift of the sub-compact Sedan.

Maruti Dzire Facelift Design

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire will reportedly arrive with the same dimensions. The sedan will be based on the same platform used for the previous models and the recently introduced Swift hatchback. Design changes for the sedan will remain largely with those seen on the Swift hatchback. Although the recently spotted test mule was highly camouflaged and didn't reveal anything about the design updates of the sedan, we are expecting that the sedan will get a new pair of LED headlights and taillights, a new set of alloy wheels and an updated grille and bumper.

Maruti Dzire Facelift Interior

The upcoming sedan is also expected to arrive with some added design changes including a dual-tone theme. Apart from the design, the sedan will also receive a new infotainment system and digital instrumental console derived from the 2024 Swift hatchback. Additionally, the sub-compact sedan will also come with 360-degree, ventilated seats and wireless charging.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire Powertrain

The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Dzire is expected to be powered with a new Z-Series 1.2 Litre NA petrol engine which will produce a maximum power output of 82 bhp and a peak torque of 108 Nm. Reportedly, this powerhouse will be mated with a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic unit.
