Maruti Suzuki Fronx: The Maruti Fronx was unveiled at Auto Expo 2023, and reservations opened on January 12. It is an SUV with the Baleno as its base. It will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine (90 PS/113 Nm) and a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine (100 PS/148 Nm). Maruti Suzuki Frankonx is available for as little as Rs. 6.90 lakh and as much as Rs. 11 lakh (ex-showroom). Engine and transmission

A 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine (90PS/113Nm) from the Baleno and a 1-litre turbo-petrol BoosterJet engine (100PS/148Nm) from Maruti are the two petrol engine alternatives that the company is offering. In comparison to the latter, the former can be ordered with either a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission.

Features

A heads-up display, cruise control, auto climate control, a nine-inch infotainment system, and wireless phone charging are among its features.

It offers up to six airbags, an electronic stability programme (ESP), hill hold aid, a 360-degree camera, ISOFIX anchors, and ABS with EBD for the safety of the passengers.

Variants and colours

There are five trims available for the Maruti Fronx: Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha.

Fronx is available in six monotone colours and three dual-tone colours: Earthen Brown with a Bluish Black roof, Opulent Red with a Bluish Black roof, Splendid Silver with a Bluish Black roof, Polar White with Bluish Black roof, and Opulent Red with Bluish Blacktop.

Expected price in India

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is expected to cost around Rs 6.90 lakh for the base variant and around 11.40 lakh for the top trim variant.
