Maruti Suzuki Engage
The nation’s leading automaker, Maruti Suzuki, is getting ready to introduce its new 7-seater MPV vehicle to the Indian market very soon. A document with the company’s application for a new trademark with the name “Engage” has recently been leaked online. According to rumours, the business may use this trademark for its next new MPV vehicle. Another report about this new MPV has also come to light, claiming that it will be based on the current Toyota Innova Hycross.
There will be two variants of the 2.0-litre petrol engine and hybrid technology for the new Maruti Suzuki Engage MPV. Both of the engines came from a Toyota Innova Highcross. A maximum of 186PS and 206Nm of torque are produced by the 2.0-litre Strong Hybrid model. E-CVT gearboxes are an option. A maximum of 174PS and 205Nm of torque are produced by the 2.0-litre petrol engine. A CVT automatic gearbox may be installed with the engine.
While the feature set of the new Maruti MPV will resemble that of the Innova Highcross, the interior design may differ. It will therefore be the first car from the Indo-Japanese company to feature the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Additionally, a new 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and second-row seats with ottoman functions will be included.
