MBP C1002V: Italian company unveils a powerful bike at Auto Expo 2023, likely to compete with other 1000cc cruisers

MBP C1002V: The Italian company MBP, which is owned by China, just said that it will start selling cars in India at the 2023 Auto Expo. Adishwar Auto Ride will sell the bikes in India. The company has started its India business with two bikes, and the C1002V cruiser is the more expensive one.

The bike will go up against bikes from companies like Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycle

The MBP C1002V will compete with the likes of the Harley-Davidson Nightster and Ducati Diavel. The motorcycle has a 997 cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine that makes 94 bhp and 102 Nm of torque and is paired with a 6-speed transmission. The bike also has a 5-inch TFT screen that lets you connect your smartphone, find your way, and do a lot more.

The bike has 18-inch wheels with fat 130-section tyres in the front and 240-section tyres in the back. It has two 320 mm disc brakes in the front and one 300 mm disc with dual channel ABS in the back. A seat height of 680 mm and a ground clearance of 150 mm are both good numbers. Even with a kerb weight of 262 kg, this cruiser is pretty light for its size.

The MBP C1002V got a lot of attention at the Expo because it looked big and powerful. The motorcycle has a low-slung stance and a very long wheelbase, which are both traits of cruisers. It has a round fuel tank with sharp edges, a scooped seat for the rider, and a chunky back end. The big V-twin engine, the shotgun-style twin exhausts, and the very wide front and back tyres give the bike a lot of visual mass

Modern features like a 5-inch TFT dash, cruise control, an anti-theft auto-shutdown function, a panic button, and switchable engine maps go well with its tough look. The MBP C1002V is powered by a 997cc V-Twin engine with 80-degree cylinders and 94bhp and 102Nm of power and torque, respectively. The premium hardware package matches the bike's size and performance, with upside-down forks and two disc brakes at the front.

The MBP C1002V's price and date of release in India have not been announced yet, but we expect them to be out soon.
