Mobile internet services suspended in 11 Rajasthan cities for REET

The government and the administration have taken a big decision regarding the biggest exam for teacher recruitment (REET Mains Exam) in Rajasthan. Internet services have been stopped in 11 districts of the state. On behalf of the Rajasthan Government, the Divisional Commissioner issued an important order regarding internet service. According to this, mobile internet service will remain closed from 6 am to 6 pm on February 26 in 11 districts including Jaipur. This step has been taken in view of the REET Mains Exam being conducted in the state.

Internet shut down in these 11 cities

The cities where internet services have been suspended include Bikaner, Ajmer, Kota, Bharatpur and capital Jaipur. Apart from these, Alwar, Bhilwara, Jodhpur, Sriganganagar, Tonk and Udaipur are included. Actually, the REET main examination is being organized in the state on 25 and 26 February. In view of the apprehensions of paper leak in this examination for the recruitment of teachers, the administration took this step. Under this, internet service has been temporarily suspended in these 11 districts on Sunday.

Decision in view of the possibility of paper leak

REET 2023 exam is being conducted to fill a total of 48,000 posts of Grade 3 teachers across the state. As per the official schedule, the REET exam is held in two shifts morning and afternoon. If you look at the timing of REET Main Exam 2023, then this exam is from 9:30 am in the morning. Whereas in the afternoon, this exam will start at 3 pm. Regarding this examination, the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board had appealed to the government to suspend internet services. After which a decision was taken by the government to keep internet service closed till 6 pm in 11 districts.

Internet will be temporarily closed in Bikaner today

Important decision was taken in view of law and order in Rajasthan Primary (Level-1) and Upper Primary (Level-2) School Direct Recruitment Examination-2022. Internet service will be temporarily closed in the city limits of Bikaner till 26th February on today. According to the order issued by Neeraj K Pawan, Internet service will remain suspended in Bikaner's urban area and nearby villages Khara, Raiser, Udayramsar. Internet will not work here temporarily from 6 am to 6 pm.
