The event, known as the Tansen Samaroh, will take place at Karn Mahal near Gwalior Fort, Madhya Pradesh, and is expected to bring together over 1500 tabla artists in an attempt to set a Guinness World Record.

The preparations are in full swing for this magnificent event, which aims to bring together more than 1500 tabla players in a grand Taal Durbar (rhythmic court) and make its mark in the Guinness World Book of Records. The official handle of the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has urged people to participate enthusiastically.

In an official message, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has appealed to the public to witness and participate in the mesmerizing tabla festival in Gwalior. The event is scheduled to commence at 4 PM on December 25th at Karn Mahal, Gwalior Fort. The organizers have made special arrangements, including enhanced security measures, decorations, and other facilities, to ensure the success of the program.

Rediscovering Tansen's Birthplace - The City of Melodious Harmony

Tansen, a maestro in Hindustani classical music and one of the nine gems in Akbar's court, is believed to have been born around 50 decades ago in the city of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The saying goes that in Gwalior, children cry in tune, stones resonate with beats, showcasing the unique and profound musical heritage of the city.
