Highlighting Netaji’s contribution to the nation, the Chief Minister said the country remains forever indebted to his selfless service and unwavering commitment to India’s freedom. He added that Netaji’s ideals of nationalism, sacrifice and discipline remain deeply relevant in building a strong and self-reliant India.
The programme in Lucknow witnessed participation from public representatives, officials and citizens, who paid homage to Netaji and reflected on his role in shaping India’s freedom movement. Floral tributes and remembrance messages marked the occasion, reaffirming the nation’s respect for one of its most iconic leaders.
The Chief Minister further noted that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose symbolised fearless leadership and uncompromising resolve against colonial rule. His vision of a free and united India, CM Yogi Adityanath said, continues to guide the country’s democratic and constitutional journey even decades after independence.
CM Yogi Adityanath also emphasised that remembering Netaji is not limited to paying tribute on his birth anniversary, but lies in imbibing his values in everyday governance and public life. He said that the spirit of service, discipline and national pride championed by Netaji must reflect in policies aimed at public welfare, social justice and national unity.
