New Traffic Rule: A challan of Rs.10000 will be delivered to you if you don’t have this in your vehicle, details here

New Traffic Rule: Vehicles without PUC (‘Pollution under Control’) would be unable to operate on Delhi’s roads. In Delhi, the problem of car owners driving without a valid pollution certificate is expected to worsen. The Delhi government’s transport department may begin mailing notifications to car owners who do not have valid PUC certificates. Drivers who do not have a PUC certificate will be fined 10,000 rupees in the form of a challan.

In addition to the Red Light On, Car Off campaign on Delhi’s roads, the Environment Department has undertaken Anti Dust Campaigns, Anti Open Burning Campaigns, and other campaigns. In such a case, the Transport Department has also been working to reduce air pollution at its own level. Under New Traffic Rule, Preparations are being done in this regard to reduce the number of cars running without Pollution Control (PUC).

According to family department officials, a considerable number of automobiles without PUC are on Delhi’s roads. T

he gases emitted by these automobiles are harming the city’s climate. The validity of about 17,24,891 vehicles’ Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificates is alleged to have expired. The Transportation Department is poised to step up enforcement against all of these vehicles.

The department has made it abundantly apparent that action will be taken against anyone who do not have PUCC, with a fine of $10,000 or six months in prison imposed. Alternatively, there can be both a challan and a punishment. Aside from that, a driver’s licence might be suspended for up to three months.
