NIA Raid In 6 States: Anti-Terror Agency Raids 13 Premises Over ISIS Links

NIA Raid In 6 States: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Sunday conducted raids in various areas in 13 districts of 6 states of the country regarding the terrorist organization ISIS.

According to the information, many incriminating documents and electronic devices have been recovered during the raid. Soon some arrests may also be made in this case. In the cases of terrorist activities in different states of the country, the case under section 153A, and 153B of the IPC and section 18, 18B, 38, 39 and 40 of the UA (P) Act by the NIA on 25 June 2022.

The NIA also searched several ISIS-linked premises in 13 states in 6 states, including in Bhopal and Raisen districts in Madhya Pradesh, in Bharuch, Surat, Navsari and Ahmedabad districts in Gujarat, in Araria district in Bihar, in Karnataka in Bhatkal and Tumkur districts in Kolhapur and Nanded districts in Maharashtra.

All these districts are related to the activities of ISIS. NIA has also come to know that under this conspiracy, people are being recruited into the terrorist organization ISIS through social sites.

On Sunday morning, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and UP ATS raided Deoband and arrested a suspected youth. It is being told that the suspect youth is a student of a madrasa and it is suspected that he was in touch with the IS module.

According to the information, the youth was on the radar of NIA for a long time. The NIA team has nabbed him this morning from the madrasa itself. However, this action has not been confirmed yet. It is being told that the wires of this young man are also related to the bomb blasts in Syria. The ATS has taken the young man with him.

Earlier, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) had raided six districts of Bihar on Thursday morning. In the Phulwari Sharif case of Patna, the NIA team had raided many places regarding the connection related to the Popular Front of India (PFI) organization. Apart from Phulwari Sharif, simultaneous raids were also conducted in Darbhanga, Patna, Nalanda and East Champaran districts of Bihar on Thursday.
