Floods in the neighboring country of Pakistan have caused havoc. Rain and deluge have disturbed life. A total of 1,290 people have died in this flood so far. At the same time, now the risk of infection has increased, due to which the authorities have intensified efforts to prevent the spread of diseases caused by infection. Apart from this, the economic situation of Pakistan has also collapsed. Pakistan has suffered a loss of 12.5 billion US dollars in this flood.
Millions of people are forced to live in caps and relief camps after the severe floods in Pakistan. Today the situation in Pakistan has become such that one third of the country is badly in the grip of floods. In such a situation, helping the flood victims is the biggest challenge and need of Pakistan. The area of Sindh has been badly affected by the floods. The crisis of food and water has arisen in front of the people. In such a situation, government help is the only support for them to live.
As the water of the flood is decreasing, it is also bringing diseases with it. Therefore, teams of doctors have also been deployed in these areas. People forced to live in the camp are also suffering from many diseases. Different types of diseases are also spreading among them. Children are becoming the most victims of these diseases. At least 47,000 pregnant women were in shelter camps in the province. Efforts are being made by the government to prevent diseases caused by frequent infection.
The catastrophic floods have submerged a third of the country and displaced more than 33 million people. Pakistan’s already shaky economy has suffered an economic loss of US$ 12.5 billion. According to a report by Jio News, the inflation rate is estimated to reach from 24 percent to 27 percent and for the current financial year it will reach 30 percent. Apart from this, poverty and unemployment will increase manifold from 21.9 percent to more than 36 percent.
