PG medical seats increases 17% compared to last year

According to media reports 2,212 postgraduate seats are available in the state quota across government and private medical colleges this year. Notably this is 17% more than last year’s total intake. The data released by the state common entrance test (CET) cell late on Friday showed.

“As per the admissions schedule, the first seat allotment list will be released on October 3. We are hoping for clarity from the apex court and the Bombay high court on two separate cases so that our admission schedule is not marred,” Dr Punit Chaubey, a PG medical aspirant, said.

Meanwhile (Karnataka Examinations Authority) KEA has extended the date for candidates to apply for document verification for NEET PG counseling 2022. Candidates can now submit their documents for Karnataka NEET PG 2022 counseling at their respective colleges by tomorrow, October 3, 2022.

As per a notice dated September 30, 2022, the last date to appear for document verification for Karnataka PGET counseling has been extended from October 1 to October 3, 2022.
