PM Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind wishes on the occasion of Easter

Easter 2022: Today the festival of Easter is being celebrated all over the world. President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have greeted the people on the occasion.

The Prime Minister has expressed hope that the spirit of happiness and brotherhood will be strengthened in the society. Prime Minister Modi tweeted, Happy Easter, on this occasion, we remember the thoughts and teachings of Jesus Christ, which emphasized social justice and compassion. May the spirit of happiness and brotherhood intensify in our society.

President Ram Nath Kovind on Saturday greeted citizens on the eve of Easter and wished that the festival rekindles the spirit of unity and strengthens the nation’s commitment to prosperity and well-being. The President said in a message, “On the auspicious occasion of Easter, I extend my best wishes and heartfelt greetings to all citizens, especially the Christian community living in India and abroad.” Kovind said that Easter is a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is an occasion to celebrate and encourage people to follow the path of love, sacrifice and forgiveness.

The festival of Easter is celebrated all over the world. It is believed in Christianity that Jesus Christ was resurrected on this day. Christian communities all over the world celebrate Easter with full enthusiasm and devotion. After Christmas, Easter is considered to be the biggest festival of Christianity. As mentioned in the Bible, Christ was crucified on Good Friday and Jesus Christ was resurrected on the third day of Good Friday. After being alive, Jesus Christ lived in this world for 40 days. On this occasion people exchange Easter baskets and special gifts with their loved ones.
