PM Modi inaugurated Asia's largest hospital Amrita Hospital in Faridabad on Wednesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Haryana and Punjab on Wednesday. Where he has reached Haryana earlier.
Inaugurating this hospital, PM Modi said that India is a nation where treatment is a service, health is a charity. The PM said- "We have a Veda in medical science. We have also given the name of Ayurveda to our medical science."
The PM further said that the country has entered the elixir of independence with a new energy. In this nectar of ours, the collective efforts of the country are being honored. Collective thoughts of the country are waking up. I am happy that the nation is also getting the nectar of blessings of Mother Amritanandamayi in this time of Amrit Kaal.
Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, Union Minister and Faridabad MP Krishan Pal Gurjar, spiritual guru Mata Amritanandamayi, popularly known as Amma, were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
Know About Amrita Hospital
Amrita Hospital built in Faridabad is spread over 133 acres. Rs 6,000 crore has been spent to make it. This multi super specialty hospital has 2,600 beds where various types of diseases will be treated. The hospital will be managed by Mata Amritanandamayi Math.
Inside the hospital there is also a four-star hotel, a medical college, a nursing college, a rehabilitation centre, a helipad and a guesthouse with 498 rooms for the family members of the patients. Once fully operational, the hospital will have more than 10,000 staff and 800 doctors.
After Haryana, PM Modi will go to Punjab. Where he will inaugurate the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Center in Mohali.
