PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked the people of Telangana on Thursday to stay away from crooked forces and "appeasement politics." This was an indirect attack on opposition leaders, but it was more aimed at the BRS government and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

After starting road, health, and infrastructure projects worth Rs 11,000 crore, he spoke to the public from Parade Grounds. He said that the Telangana government is not helping with the development projects that the Centre is working on for the state. He also said that some people only care about how a project will help them and their families.

But he didn't say anything directly about chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Instead, he said, "The NDA government has a great vision for the country and projects. This will be a loss for the people of Telangana. They should think about this."

He made fun of the opposition parties for going to the Supreme Court: "A few days ago, some political parties went to the court to ask for protection so that no one would look at their corruption records, but the court sent them back."

The Prime Minister announced his anti-corruption campaign by saying, "Before NDA there was no Direct Benefit Transfer scheme and now beneficiaries are getting everything into their accounts, family-owned, corrupt governments only see their benefit in every project."

The PM said that no one would be saved from legal action if they have been corrupt. He asked the people. "Should we not take action against them and let the law take its course against them?"

Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express

Earlier, the PM sent off the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express from the Secunderabad Railway Station. The 13th Vande Bharat Express train will cut the time it takes to get from Secunderabad, Telangana, to Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, by three and a half hours.

In just three months, Telangana has seen the departure of two Vande Bharat trains.

In early January, Prime Minister Modi launched the seventh Vande Bharat Express from Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam.

Between Secunderabad and Tirupati, the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express stops at stations in  Guntur, Nalgonda, Ongole, and Nellore. The distance between the two towns is 660 km.

The new Vande Bharat Express is equipped with CCTV cameras, power backup, GPS-based information tools and vacuum toilets.

Renovations of the Secunderabad Railway Station

After giving the train the signal to leave, the PM also laid the first stone of the new Secunderabad Railway Station.

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) says that the redevelopment of Secunderabad Railway Station, which will cost Rs 720 crore, will include a major makeover with world-class amenities and an aesthetically built iconic station building.
