Narendra Modi's cabinet ministers is going to be reshuffled following the Covid protocol in the Ashok Hall of Rashtrapati Bhavan at 6 pm today.
Ahead cabinet reshuffling Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Union Minister Santosh Gangwar have resigned from their posts. It is believed that the team of some more ministers may bid farewell to Modi. Among them, the name of Sadananda Gowda is also going on.
According to sources, seven ministers of state can be promoted in this reshuffle, while 14 new faces can be included. A total of 43 people can take oath today.
All those who are to be made ministers have reached the PM's residence. Apart from these, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda have also reached the PM residence.
Those who reached the Prime Minister's residence include Jyotiraditya Scindia, former Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Narayan Rane from Maharashtra, Kapil Kamat, Ajay Bhatt from Uttarakhand. Apart from these, JDU President RCP Singh and LJP's Pashupati Kumar Paras are also involved.
Apart from these, Ashwini Vaishnav, who was the personal secretary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, has also come to meet the Prime Minister. Ashwini Vaishnav is a BJP Rajya Sabha MP from Orissa.
