BJP MLA from Khatauli Vikram Saini said on Wednesday that Muslim youths opening Mehendi shops have different intentions, love jihad is in their mind. They do love jihad under the guise of applying mehendi.
“Muslim artists indulge in love jihad under the guise of mehendi work and there have been many such cases,” the legislator from Khatauli constituency said in Muzaffarnagar district.
“I request Hindu women to apply mehendi at home or at shops/beauty parlours opened by members of our community,” he added.
The MLA said that many cases of love jihad have come to the fore. Women don’t need to go to these people. I am against it. The MLA said that I request Hindu women to either apply mehendi at home or get mehendi done in a Hindu shop or beauty parlor.
At the same time, Vishwa Hindu Parishad has opened 13 mehndi stalls. So that Hindu women can get Mehndi done by Hindus only.
Simultaneously, the VHP has tasked its members to ensure that Muslim male make-up artists do not apply henna on the hands of Hindu women. They should check the Aadhar card of Mehndi artists and confirm that they are Hindu.
Earlier on Tuesday, Hindu organizations had warned Muslim youths by performing Lath Puja, if they were seen applying mehendi anywhere in the market, they would teach them a lesson. On this Vikram Saini said that everything happens in anger. If someone misbehaves with our sisters and daughters, then sticks will also run. The BJP MLA said that these people do not celebrate the festival of Hindus, some people are also good. If you put Gulal on our Holi, light 11 lamps on Deepawali, then we will also respect their Eid.
