Amid Ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra, Senior Congress Leader Praises Rahul Gandhi

Senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath praised the leadership of Rahul Gandhi for ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. Along with this, he said on Friday that he (Rahul) will not only be the face of the opposition in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, but will also be the face of the Prime Minister’s post. He also said in an interview given to a media channel through email that Rahul Gandhi does not politics of power, but politics of the people, such a leader is automatically put on the throne by the people of the country.

When asked whether Rahul Gandhi could be the face of the opposition in the next Lok Sabha elections, Kamal Nath said, “As far as the 2024 elections are concerned, Rahul Gandhi is not only the face of the opposition, but also the face of the Prime Minister.”

According to Kamal Nath, ‘No person has traveled more than 3500 kilometers in the history of the world. No family has given as much martyrdom for the country of India as the Gandhi family has given. Kamal Nath said, ‘Rahul Gandhi does not do politics of power. He does public politics and the one who does public politics, the public automatically puts him on the throne. This is the first time in recent times, when a senior Congress leader has said that Rahul Gandhi will be the face of the Prime Minister’s post in the next Lok Sabha elections.

BJP is doing false propaganda regarding the yatra – Kamal Nath

Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee President Kamal Nath, 76, said, “When the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ was passing through the states of South India like Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka, the BJP spread propaganda that the yatra would fail in Maharashtra. When the yatra got more support in Maharashtra, it was said that it would not be able to get support like South India in the Hindi heartland, but by reaching Madhya Pradesh, the yatra broke all records.”

The Congress leader also said, ‘Now everyone has seen in Rajasthan and after that in Delhi as well, how popular Rahul Gandhi’s visit is becoming.’ He said that not only Congress workers participated in the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ in Madhya Pradesh, but the general public and especially the youth participated in a big way.

‘Congress government will be formed in Madhya Pradesh’

The former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh said, “Rahul Gandhi has made it clear that ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ is not a political yatra. The purpose of this yatra is to defeat the forces that break India and end hatred, as far as elections are concerned, the Congress government is sure to be formed in Madhya Pradesh with a thumping majority. After the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, the workers are working with double enthusiasm.”

When asked whether the challenge for the Congress would be difficult in the event of a change of chief minister of the BJP in Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath said that it does not matter who is the chief minister from the BJP side. He said, “Who the Bharatiya Janata Party makes the Chief Minister in Madhya Pradesh is an internal matter of the party. The people of Madhya Pradesh had made Congress the Chief Minister in 2018. Whatever Chief Minister the BJP makes, he will be the head of the government of horse-trading. It doesn’t matter to the Congress party who is the Chief Minister of the BJP. You understand the intention of the people of Madhya Pradesh that they are going to form the Congress government in 2023.”
