Bengal Violence: Massive Bomb Blast Took Place Outside Residence Of BJP MP Arjun Singh

A massive bomb blast took place outside the residence of Arjun Singh, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s MP from West Bengal, on Wednesday morning. Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar gave this information by tweeting. Dhankhar wrote that the violent violence in West Bengal is not taking its name. The bomb blast outside the MP’s residence this morning is a matter of concern and raises questions on the law and order situation in the state. I expect speedy action in this matter. As far as the security of Arjun Singh is concerned, this issue has been raised earlier also.

According to the information, when the bomb was attacked at the house, MP and state BJP vice-president Arjun Singh was not present. Although his family members were at home at that time. The police reached the spot and investigated the footage of the CCTV cameras installed in the house so that the bombers could be traced.

Arjun Singh is an MP in the 17th Lok Sabha from Barrackpore Lok Sabha constituency, West Bengal. He contested the 2019 Lok Sabha election as a BJP candidate and won. Earlier, Singh had also won the Bhatpara assembly seat for four consecutive terms since 2001 as a Trinamool Congress candidate. He was appointed as the Vice President of the West Bengal unit of BJP on 1 June 2020.
